The department of commerce initiated functioning in 1971 with B.Com (Prof.).Department was upgraded as Post Graduate department in 2003. With the introduction of M.Com. course. The department offers an undergraduate course in commerce with accounting and finance and post graduate course with finance and having optional subjects. The department has been proudly and consistency 100% passes university examinations for the past many years in B.Com and M.Com. Programmed. The curriculum of commerce education oriented and hence department follows a multidimensional pathology for both programmers that consists of :
