Computer Science is the study of computers and computational systems. Computer department is established in 2002 with BCA, B.Sc.(IT),M.Sc. (Computer Science), PGDCA & DCA(Diploma in Computer Applications). Computer scientists deal mostly with software and software systems; this includes their theory, design, development, and application. Department of Computer Science provides ICT enabled classrooms and all professors give their own lectures to students using the projectors. Well equipped labs with latest technology with i5 processor and latest windows based operating system. Every Saturday our department conducts a seminar in which students are introduced to the trending technologies like networking, net banking, online services, use of mobile services etc. In various inter college competitions our students got many prizes in technical competitions like Adobe Photoshop, Website designing, Programming, Treasure Hunt etc. Principal areas of study within Computer Science include artificial intelligence, computer systems and networks, security, database systems, Computer graphics, numerical analysis, programming languages, software engineering and theory of computing.
